Simone Harris is interning at the Benchmarks program in Silver Spring under the YMCA Youth and Family Services. She will be earning credit to finish out her Bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences at the University of Maryland College Park. Simone is no new face to the Y; she has also participated in the Counselor in Training program and served as a Camp Counselor for two summers before entering college. She enjoys working with children of all ages and aspires to be Kindergarten teacher
