On Saturday, April 26, from 10am to 1pm, the YMCA Youth & Family Services is celebrating YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event to get kids moving and learning and families living healthier.
YFS’s Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of families, featuring fun active play and educational activities to help kids be healthy and reach their full potential. Field Games, Soccer, Zumba, Ethiopian Dance, Facepainting, Healthy Snacks and Free Health Screenings will be featured at YFS’s event. Every family will receive a goody bag to fill with free health information from a variety of vendors. Also, we expect to give away thousands of pounds of healthy food, providing families a free grocery bag of wholesome food to take home.
